Jakarta, July 5, 2022 – In line with the vision of Indonesia towards Indonesia Emas 2045 (Golden Indonesia 2045), the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia collaborates with various stakeholders to organize a series of events under the Road to Ministry of Finance (MOFEST) 2022. Recently, Malang was the second city among the four selected to host MOFEST 2022.
The Secretary-General of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia, Heru Pambudi, introduced the Indonesian Export Financing Agency (LPEI)/Indonesia Eximbank as a #SpecialMissionVehicle under the Ministry of Finance that can assist entrepreneurs in becoming exporters. In addition to training and mentoring programs, LPEI also provides financing facilities to help businesses expand globally.
"Here is LPEI, an institution mandated to promote national exports through Financing, Guarantees, Insurance, and Consulting Services. For younger students who aspire to be export-oriented entrepreneurs, you can contact LPEI," said Heru Pambudi during his address. He added, "The youth of Indonesia today will become a generation ready and capable of leading Indonesia towards Indonesia Emas 2045."
The activities of MOFEST 2022, themed "Master Your Future," were enhanced by the MOFEST talk show featuring speakers from various professional and educational backgrounds, including beautypreneurs, co-founders, LPDP awardees, and the Head of the LPEI Department. They shared insightful experiences with the participants. LPEI participated as one of the speakers in the talk show session titled "Equipping The Next Youngpreneur." Nilla Meiditha, Head of the Consultation Services Department at LPEI, stated that, in support of Indonesia Emas 2045, LPEI is ready to provide facilities for young Indonesians aspiring to become export-oriented young entrepreneurs.
"If younger students want to become export business players or perhaps already have a business but don't know how to export, they can contact LPEI for guidance, training, business matching, and access to global marketplaces," explained Nilla Meiditha.
In addition to the talk show, LPEI also participated in the MOFEST Expo, held concurrently, to provide information about LPEI, its products, and Consultation Services activities for the attendees.
This hybrid event received tremendous enthusiasm from participants. Over 400 attendees joined the event both physically and virtually. In a separate statement, Chesna F. Anwar, the Executive Director of Institutional Relations at LPEI, mentioned that LPEI has implemented several strategies to help SMEs move up the ladder. "We have the Coaching Program for New Exporter (CPNE), which includes export training and mentoring for prospective exporters, as well as mentoring through business matching via the Marketing Handholding program," explained Chesna F. Anwar.
