November 27, 2019, South Korea. The Ministry of Trade is carrying out a Trade Mission to Busan-South Korea as a result of the Indonesia-Korea Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (IK-CEPA) declaration which was previously signed.
Indonesia Eximbank as one of the Special Mission Vehicles of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia which has the task of supporting the national export program through the National Export Financing, has a Buyer's Credit scheme offered to Busan to improve the competitiveness of products and or services made in Indonesia in the Global market.
This scheme is given to businesses that are domiciled abroad and buy products and or services made in Indonesia. Buyer’s credit is a facility that can only be provided by Indonesia Eximbank with the aim of increasing Indonesian exports from the buyer side or demand side. This scheme is a tangible form of the role of Indonesia Eximbank as a fill the market gap.
The Trade Mission was opened by Indonesian Ambassador to South Korea Mr. Umar Hadi and South Korean Ambassador Kim Chang Beom as well as Executive Vice President of Busan Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Lee Kab-Joon. Also present was the Minister of Trade of the Republic of Indonesia, Mr. Agus Supramanto who gave the Keynote Speech in this event.
