Today (11/25) Indonesia Eximbank facilitated a meeting between the Government of Ghana and Indonesian businessmen / exporters at the "Business Dialogue: Unlocking Trade and Investment Opportunities in Ghana" event at the Indonesia Eximbank Head Office, Jakarta.
The meeting that took place at the Indonesia Eximbank Headquarters was attended by delegates from the Indonesian Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Trade, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Industry, LPEI Executive Director Shintya Roesly and LPEI Senior Executive Vice President (SEVP) I, Yadi Jaya Ruchandi.
Meanwhile, the delegation from Ghana was attended by the Deputy Minister of Trade and Industry of Ghana Hon. Robert Ahomka-Lindsay, Ambassador of Ghana to Indonesia, H.E Akua Sekyiwa Ahenkore, Assistant General Manager of Ghana Eximbank, Rosemary Adom Otchere and Free Foundation CEO Kofi Adjei Ntim along with their staff and Indonesian business people.
The Indonesian businessmen who attended the event included PT Wijaya Karya (Persero) Tbk, PT Dirgantara Indonesia (Persero), PT PAL Indonesia (Persero), PT Industri Kereta Api (Persero), PT Timah Tbk, PT Kimia Farma ( Persero), PT Pindad (Persero), PT Pertamina (Persero), PT Indofarma (Persero), Ammdes, PT Sri Rejeki Isman Tbk and PT Hutama Karya (Persero).
Indonesia Eximbank sees many trade and investment opportunities that can be made between Indonesia and Ghana. In addition, this visit also opened up opportunities for businesspeople from Indonesia to build trade and investment relations with the Government of Ghana in order to support increased national exports to non-traditional countries.
